Join an email group of about 50 other UU's in Canada who are working on publicity in their congregations.

  Just send a blank email to cuc-publicity-subscribe@yahoogroups.com and then post an introduction of yourself, your congregation and what your current projects and questions are.

Media Relations Teleseminar

Penney Kome, our Media Relations Consultant and a Unitarian in Calgary, does a one-hour teleseminar on working with the media. We send out invitations on cuc-publicity with the date,time and dialing instructions.

We have done two of these one-hour sessions and plan to both repeat the "basics" and facilitate a customized session around a CUC news release or event.

Your only cost is a long distance charge to a US phone number.

We encourage you to meet with one or two other members of your congregation around a speaker phone, so you can continue your discussion about how to apply what you learn to your own congregation's publicity campaigns.
